No, this isn't some criminal come-get-us things. Just want to say that we're on tour at the moment. After our success at the SCDA One-Act-Play Festival at Birnam Institute and our weekend up at the Killin Komedy Festival we decided to take our two plays on a tour of some local village halls. Last night was our first night, out at the Kinrossie Village Hall. All arrived safe and well, all scenery and technical stuff was setup and the audience arrived. By all accounts they enjoyed our performances of "Wee Man in a Box" and "Goodbye Charles," although the prompter's iPad did go down at one point. Mind you, we got through it all. Oh - and he might not thank me for saying this but Ryan got to use his new lighting setup in anger for the first time.
But we do it all again tonight, at Luncarty Memorial Hall, then next Friday and Saturday at the Bridge of Earn Institute and Auchterarder Aytoun Hall respectively. The shows start at 7pm and tickets cost only £5. You can get tickets on the door or at https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/perth-drama-club/.
Oh - and wee warning that some people may find some of the language used a bit choice.
I thoroughly enjoyed the Friday night Performance at Kinrossie Village Hall .
The Wee Man in the Box had me in tears of laughter and so good to hear something in our own dialect 😀 The cast were excellent. I also enjoyed Good bye Charles it was very well played and props very slick . Thank you for a wonderful evening .
